1981 VW Rabbit diesel 1.6l 5 speed. 112k miles.
The good:
-Strong running motor. (previous owner had it rebuilt.) No paperwork but it is very strong.
-clean interior with all working accessories. Even the clock works properly. (driver seat is torn on bottom.)
The bad:
-Has been sitting in the garage due to not having any time to work on it.
-needs a battery
-has developed a wiring gremlin. I think it is a ground issue and I can not get electric to the ignition to turn over.
-front passenger floor is weak and the front passenger frame needs patched.
-inspection ran out in 5/16
Also included is a bed full of extra parts. Wiring pieces, full dash (not cracked), door and fender (rust free), brake rotors, and a bunch of other stuff.
Asking $3300 firm. I do not need to sell just don’t have time to work on it.
