I love this little truck and I wish I could keep it and continue the restoration I had planned, but I’m moving in a few months and I also have a motorcycle project taking up space.
This thing draws attention like nothing else I’ve ever driven. Bought it last September for a fun project and I regret nothing, it’s slow but that’s kind of the point. It comes with a camper shell that’s only in OK condition, but it gets the job done. Interior will also need some work as the upholstery is torn. I just put in a new clutch and had the transmission serviced with new clutch case bolts, as well as a new alternator, and had the alternator mount repaired. All repairs were done by Logan’s Import Emporium in Manassas, known for VW and Euro work.
Slight damage to the passenger front quarter panel, but those are available for around $40 online. Radio stopped working a while back, left turn signal relay needs to be replaced, and the A/C works but is fairly weak. It also has a current VA inspection through September.
