1981 Volkswagen Pickup. I purchased it off this site in 2019. Since I have owned it I have replaced the following:
New Alternator
New coolant hoses including heater hose
Previous owner replaced the radiator
New resealed vacuum pump for the power brakes
New fuel injector pump, from the performance shop in Canada
New Bosch Fuel Injectors
New fast warm-up glow plugs with the correct timer
Overhauled engine. Block was honed and new piston rings installed. New head, valves, springs, camshaft, bearings. Engine runs great. Does not use oil.
New air conditioning compressor and dryer. Complete air conditioning flush. Recharged with 134A. A/C will freeze you out of the cab.
New overflow tank
New timing belt
New LED headlights
New front windshield and winshield rubber gasket
Hitch was installed for light towing
New air-shocks installed
