82 VW caddy with 84 jetta tdi engine, no smog required as it came factory with a 1.6 non turbo diesel engine.
5 speed manual transmission. The tdi is a direct swap into this truck so there is no modification done to the chassis to fit making it a very clean swap that keeps the truck in original condition. The truck has no rust amd only a few scratches in the paint. Odometer doesn’t work but reads 230k engine and trans have around 100k on them.
Recently replaced timing belt, front crankshaft seal, valve cover gasket, injectors, cv axles, shift linkage bushings with weighted shift rod and short shifter, and frint engine mount. It comes with a paint matched camper shell, ive only seen a few of these trucks in person and never seen another with the camper shell. Only real issue withit ia the blinkers don’t work, the hazards work and it has a new blinker switch but it has some aftermarket wiring tied into the blinkers that may being causing the issue.
