Description: Up for sale is my fantastic 1981 VW Rabbit Pickup. Its an LX model, equipped with all vinyl interior, crack free dash and nice exterior trim. It has a 1.6l 4-cylinder diesel engine mated to a factory 5-speed gearbox. Tall 5th gear for freeway cruising. almost all original inside and out except for a cd player and some new in dash speakers. Fully serviced(oil, coolant, transmission fluid, fuel filter and air filter within the last 50 miles). Tires are new with maybe 400 miles on them. Also available is a nice canopy to keep the rain out, if add $200.00 to my asking price. Low miles with only 123,XXX showing. Upgraded Hella H4 headlights for better night time driving. Recently installed 4 new glow plugs and fuel line with new OEM parts. Great daily driver, easy on the pocket book with 40-50mpg. willing to trade for a clean 1977-1983 BMW 320i or 320is, E30, Early 1st gen 4Runner or other interesting vehicles.
