1981 VW Rabbit Pickup with tons of new parts for sale as a project or parts car.

I have nearly $15k invested but am moving and don’t want to take the truck. It only needs the rear brake lines connected and the fuel hose plumbed in to have it driving again; I stripped the bed frame out and replaced it with a custom TIG welded tube frame and haven’t finished putting the pieces back together (I’ll do this over the next couple of weeks if it doesn’t sell as is). Would be a daily driver again with this done, but it definitely needs new floor pans and there is rust in the typical places around the front/rear windshield. There’s also no interior at the moment except seats, dash, doorcards and shifter housing.

Work done includes:
– freshly rebuilt engine and clutch with only ~250 miles on it – $5500
– rebuilt diesel injection pump – $850
– new axles and tie rods – $700
– new injectors, seals and glow plugs – $600
– new radiator and fan switch – $400
– new tires – $600
– new battery – $200
– new fuel tank, soft lines, and fuel filter $400
– new hard and soft rear brake lines, e brake cables, brake shoes, and wheel cylinders – $700

Plus more! Most of the work was done at Hans VW in west Seattle and I have the receipts.
