Up for sale is a 1981 Volkswagen diesel Caddy with an old school BAE aftermarket turbo kit.
I purchased this truck with plans to remove the turbo and install it on my daily driver Caddy, but I’ve gotten too busy and moved on to other projects.
Truck runs and drives but has some issues, i.e. brake pedal sticks, old fuel in the tank, interior and exterior are rough, etc. as it’s been sitting for years.
Most of these should be fairly easy to resolve in the right hands.
Would be a great starter truck or for someone looking for a fuel-efficient commuter, as these diesel pickups are known to get 50+ MPG!
I imagine the BAE turbo charger kit is now a sought-after classic speed part and worth a chunk of change to the right VW enthusiast. Title in hand.
