81 pickup, straight body, no rust, decent working tailgate. Great project car, just don’t have the time or $ to work on it.
It’s got the front clip from an 84 Jetta with the 1.6 (turbo?) diesel and 5 speed manual swap.
The good: Diesel gas milage!! Runs and drives great, decent interior with CD player and custom door cards. New tires and battery.
The bad: front shocks are shot (I have coilovers, see included parts) no headliner, no gauge lights, vent window seals are bad. Odo doesn’t work but all other gauges work and e-brake doesn’t work.
The ugly: the alternator is dying/dead. It will start and drive if charged but wont make long trips w/o charging.
The included parts: solo werks front coilovers, S&P rear lowering plates, raised shock mount tops (for more travel when lowering), cabby bolt thru front vent windows with new seals, new taillights.
