1982 Vw Rabbit Coupe mated with a Caddy pickup.
The rabbit has factory air and a 5-speed transmission, LS interior with remote mirrors. It was converted 20 or so years ago. It has recaro seats front and a2 jetta seats rear for four total seats with seat belts.
It has a clean title and has been inspected and titled and driven for years after the conversion was done.
It has a 1.6 Turbo diesel It runs very well. It has not been driven for 15 years and runs well for having the old diesel in it. When it first fired it ran a little rough, but I changed the fuel filter and air filter and it likes life again.
The bed of the pickup portion of it is full of parts. I DO have door cards, but no grille or bumpers for it, but have a whole bed of parts that came with it when i got it, including new brakes for rear disc conversion. It currently has the stock factory brakes on it, which do not work. They work well enough to load it on a trailer and get it off, but not well enough to drive it.
In the bed are stub axles and all the rotors and calipers to convert it to rear A2 disk brakes.
It has a new battery and starter in it. It starts right up, the lights seem to work as well as signals and heater fans.
I bought it to put it on the road, and have acquired another project that I am going to do instead.
