Description: I have a 1983 VW caddy (rabbit with a pickup body) for sale. It is a diesel with a manual transmission and has about 215,000 miles. It is a great little truck and is super fuel efficient (around 45 miles/gallon).
I have done a number of improvements on it in the last two years: new CV joints, replaced the master cylinder and brake booster, new radiator hoses, new battery, new tires, new radio, new clutch, rebuilt engine.
The interior is all original so it is over 30 years old and not perfect. The truck also has some superficial damage to the exterior; a few minor dents and scratches in the paint. It comes with an aluminum truck topper.
I absolutely love this truck and am very sad to see it go. It took me all around the country last year and did wonderfully. The only reason I am selling it is because I am having a baby and it is not the sort of truck you can put a car seat in.
