My little white truck with 51,000 original miles! was purchased used by my uncle in 1983 from Forest Hill VW in Cedar Falls. He used it as a gentleman farmer’s second vehicle until he died in 1992. It sat in the barn, driven only by me, a few times a year, mainly in the summers, until now. It has new brakes, tires and battery in the last year needs front shocks. runs great. putts along – always starts like a trooper! All original, 1.6L diesel, manual 4 speed, cruise control! and AC. Garaged all its life, driven very little in the winter, near perfect shape.
