Description: I have a 1980 mk1 VW rabbit pick up (caddy) with a 16v out of a scirocco or mk2 gti… the car has recaro seats, a wooden momo steering wheel made in italy, sparco pedals, 5 speed transmission, lowered on raceland coil overs. This was originally a california truck and is ridiculously clean. shaved engine bay, ABSOLUTELY no rust. Brand new fenders, brand new battery, I just re did the CIS (fuel injection system) originally a diesel, but swapped to the dohc 16v. solid back window (not slider) it also has a euro round headlight front end conversion. comes with extra parts, needs a little bit of odds and ends but you will not find a cleaner swap or a cleaner mk1 around.
