Description: I have my 1982 Volkswagen Rabbit Pickup for sale. It has a 1.6L diesel motor with a 5-speed manual transmission. I hate to sell this car but its not practical for me in the winter and using as a daily. It breaks so many necks driving down the road rolling coal. Now there are some pros and cons like any other car which is why I have it priced so low.
Pros:
Staggered wheel set-up, ESM 16×8 in the front and 16×9 in the rear.
Raceland Coils in the front and a transversely mounted axle in the rear.
All new coolant hoses, fresh oil change about a month ago, all new fuel injector lines, flushed radiator and block with all new coolant. Have a block heater that I purchased but never installed.
Aftermarket stereo
Brand New Headlights and Turn Signals.
New Valve Cover and Oil Pan Gasket
New Thermostat
Cons:
No Heat
No Instrument Cluster (Does have a temperature gauge, only thing you really need)
The exhaust is run out of the fuel filler door so the fuel tank is in the bed, not the prettiest thing but has done me well for a temporary tank.
The car starts and stops off of switches, car stops and starts off of 3 switches (Reminds me of an airplane vibe, makes it impossible for people to steal your car haha)
But other than that, it has been a lot of fun, just isn’t practical for my 30 minute commute to school and back every day. Will be a great show car or weekend cruiser. Price is super flexible because I know this car is not for everyone but it is relatively rare.
