Description: 1980 VW Rabbit Pickup/topper with 1984 1.6L diesel engine (below 80,000 miles – odometer broke) w/5 speed manual transmission both from a VW Dasher, surface rust, broken taillight, new tires, windshield cracked, project car, “AS IS”. Hard to start – suspect not getting fuel or glow plugs. Last time I drove it from Colorado Springs to Fort Collins it got 45 MPG. Drives straight and true.
