More Details & Pictures

This is a very modified, and very quick Rabbit truck. It does have some needs, but it had so many good ingredients, I looked past all of them when I bought it. Now I have a bucket list vehicle on the way and don’t need this one.

The bad:
So, it does need body work, obviously. I have an extra hood to go with it, and for an additional price (meaning not included), I have all new front sheetmetal, including hood, fenders, rad support and more. It has strut tower rust. My neighbor shop just had a local body shop replace an inner fender on their Caddy, and it was pretty reasonable, and well done. That’s what I planned for this. The paint work on the truck was poor, so it’s peeling, and they bondoed over some seems and stuff, and that is peeling off. Shift linkage needs bushings installed (included) and a slight adjustment. Speedo doesn’t work, comes with spare Cabriolet cluster.

The good:
2.0L 16V from a European Corrado (according to PO)
Euro intake Cam
16V Scirocco CIS-E Fuel Injection (Much less trouble prone than the CIS Motronic)
Polished Intake Manifold
Fuel Enrichment Module (Techtonics I believe)
Schrick Baffled Aluminum Oil Pan
Techtonics Dual Downpipe and TT/Custom rear section
Mini slip kit in 16V Scirocco close ratio transmission
16V Scirocco front Spindles, Brakes and axles
AC from a 16V scirocco (needs charge, but functions)
PS from a 16V Scirocco
Lower Stress bar and sway bar from 16V Scirocco

Round headlight conversion with badgeless grill and aftermarket H4 headlights
Cabby Clipper Kit front bumper
When paint was done all rubber seals replaced, so not new but not ancient
Bedliner in bed
Cabriolet Dash Swap
Leather GTI Steering Wheel
3 gauge center console
Newer carpet kit and headliner

Basically, this is some bodywork and a paint job away from being a really cool, fast useable show truck. If I wasn’t getting a VW Doka, I would never sell this Caddy. I simply don’t have the space or time for this many projects, and I don’t need 2 VW pickups.
