Description: The motor is all there just apart for a head gasket fail. New CV axles, exhaust, tires are pretty good not much rust at all. Been sitting a year. Don’t bother emailing if you’re not serious, have cash, will come on Saturday with a trailer and understand that I can get at least $250 taking it to the wrecker myself. I am sorry to bother you about this, since you said “serious buyers only”, but this is important to me. You mentioned that you could take this awesome Volkswagen truck to a wrecker. Whatever you do, please don’t scrap this truck. Owning a 1980 Rabbit pickup with this particular (and I believe quite rare), grille style is one of my lifelong dreams. But, unless you were planning on fixing the engine and taking it on a road trip to upstate New York for a total fee of around double the asking price, I will never be able to own this particular truck, since I could not afford to carrier-ship it.
Regardless, you really should have no trouble selling it to someone else who would be able to enjoy it. Honestly, your asking price is really low (assuming that its struts/unibody structure isn’t badly rusted). Just please let somebody else drive it again, rather than condemning this truck to the crusher.
