1980 Volkswagen Rabbit Diesel RUSTY truck
Rusted out – NOT SAFE FOR THE ROAD – AVAILABLE ONLY FOR PARTS – NO TITLE
1.5 Diesel engine – starts with a little help ( starting fluid )
5 speed manual transmission.
No tailgate – no tail lights.
Otherwise complete.
This had been our shop truck. Shop mate overfilled it with oil ( dip stick is broken ) While driving it from Friend Nebraska back to Lincoln it ” RAN AWAY ” from him a bit – he was able to kill it and get it back to the shop. Drained oil – ever since then it doesnt like to start up with a squirt of ether ( starting fluid ) – maybe needs glow plugs – maybe needs more? Runs well once started.
5 speed manual transmission ( convert your 4 speed )
