1981 Volkswagen Rabbit Pickup
1.6 Diesel Hydraulic 1.6 NA diesel with Giles Performance injection pump, new Bosch injectors, new fuel lines, 1.9 tdi fuel filter setup, rebuilt engine, 0.020 over, new head, cam, valves, ARP, head studs, all new gaskets, block heater, oil cooler, new radiator with dual speed fan setup with Dakota Digital controller, 5 spd transmission, new axles, new battery, 13 inch wheels, topper, all wheel disk brake conversion from Parts Place Inc, new wheels bearings all the way around, the emergency brake cables provided in the kit were not long enough so no emergency brake, red interior, manual steering, no ac, new heater core, starter may need relaced soon, gives me trouble sometimes, an inline lift pump would help it start when it gets cold. I have to crank it a while if it is really cold. Starts right up in the warmer weather. I daily drive this truck to school and back daily when it is warm. (150 miles round trip). Gets around 50 mpg most of the time. Fuel gauge does not work. I would drive it anywhere. Has some rust here and there but it is over 40 years old. No trades. If the ad is up it is available.
