Description: I have a running 1981 VW Rabbit Pickup, also known as a Caddy, for sale.

It has the 1.6L Diesel engine, 5 speed transmission, new fuel injection pump, new glow plugs, new injector nozzles, and starter.
All glass is good, interior is good (great considering age).
Brakes are good, shocks are good and all lights work. Rear tires are brand new, front tires will need replacement for inspection.

The only issue is rust on floorboards and YES it is a MAJOR issue that must be fixed before driving/inspection.
BUT it comes with a second bare chassis 1982 VW Pickup that has zero rust so you can use panels on this rolling chassis to fix the running truck. The hood, and tailgate for the rolling chassis are CLEAN in a fresh blue paint also. This second truck is a crashed and just a stripped rolling chassis only…but has the panels you would need to swap out the rust in the good running complete truck.

Wheels in photo do not match but truck comes with matching set of wheels and the roller has same style wheels plus the under-bed spare.

NO TITLE….it is a New Hampshire registered and inspected truck, and at this age the state of New Hampshire does not issue new titles on old vehicles thus no title. UPDATE: currently working to secure a title for the truck from New Hampshire. If you want it, you can get a bonded title as it is now in Texas.
