1981 Rabbit/caddy pickup with the 1.6 Diesel!
Engine is extremely healthy with no blow by, I just started it today at 32 degrees first crank after sitting for 4 months untouched almost no smoke at all!
It’s got a turbo and it looks to be factory with an aftermarket intercooler. Makes cool turbo noises, fix the wiring n slap a clutch in it and have a pretty decent highly saught after 1.6 TD Caddy pickup or pull the powertrain and use it in a swap! It has an aftermarket universal harness set in there so it’s set up to run and drive minus turn, brake and cluster. The body seems to be in good shape.
Needs clutch put in to drive it started slipping bad enough to be inoperable. (I have a clutch, tie rods, shift linkage and aftermarket cluster for it)
