Runs great! I have driven this truck to and from AZ multiple times for school and it held up fine.
These trucks were only made for a few years and are becoming rarer and rarer and the 1.6L NA engine is super efficient. The simplicity of this truck makes it perfect for anyone who is mechanically inclined.
I rebuilt the entire engine (new pistons, rings, bearings, seals, bore, cylinder head) about 20k miles ago. All the infrastructure for A/C is present and less than 3 years old but isn’t currently working. I set up a stereo with AUX and door speakers which is certainly not stock, although I disconnected the stock radio so it’s basically a placeholder in the dash now.
Rims look cool but will probably need new tires shortly.
I really wish I could keep this truck since I have put so much work and money into it over the years, but it isn’t practical to keep any longer. Not in a particular rush to sell so please don’t low-ball, but I’m open to legitimate offers. No trades.
Clean title current in AZ.
