Description: Up for sale is my 1981 Rabbit pickup. This has a 2.0 gas engine from a 1995 Jetta, which includes the fuel injection. 5 speed close ratio manual transmission. This is far more reliable than the diesel system that was in it, not to mention parts are easy to find and affordable. This engine was rebuilt last summer and runs very strong.
Parts recently replaced include ball joints, tie rods, wheels bearings, brakes, tires, speedometer cable, shift linkage, and parking brake cables. almost everything that could be replaced has been. I spent the time and money so you don’t have to.
