This one owner 75,000 miles original has the owners manual, window sticker and build sheet. It has a 1.6 Diesel engine with a 4 speed manual transmision and even working air conditioning. I purchased a few months ago from the estate of the original owner.

It had sat for 10 years until now. I have another one and could resist this find. It has the red interior with the fabric seats, no rips, or imperfections in dash or controls. It was ordered without a radio about stereo prepped and a Blaupunkt stereo was installed. It has the sliding rear window and a topper as well. The exterior is in great shape with really only two rut areas on the corners of the doors. The shock towers are mint. This truck was Ziebart rust proofed when new so you won’t find rust in the usual areas.

I have done the following to bring this back to running and driving condition. Alternator, Rear wheel cylinders, brake pads, and brake lines, including the rubber flex lines. front calipers and pads, brake master cylinder, radiator, water pump and housing, battery, struts and springs, full exhaust, new tires, blasted and painted wheels, trim rings and hub caps , need clips. New tires, headliner, fuel lines and all the fluids replaced.

I will have the car at the Westside VW car show on Sunday the 20th of Sept. I have put 500 miles on it without problems. It drives straight and runs like it should.

It still needs a few things but it’s time for me to move it on to allow me to get my other stuff done.
