1981 VW Rabbit Pickup
Originally a 1.6D with 4 speed manual trans.
The engine and trans have been swapped with a 2.0ABA (swapped fuel injection to mikuni quad carburetors) and a 5 speed 020 Transmission.
The truck does not currently run.
It still needs wiring, axles installed, fuel pump, and shift linkage installed.
I have all of these parts and more that will come with the truck.
I’ve got every receipt on this truck since new including the original purchase receipt and window sticker. The original engine and transmission will come with it as well. The original engine will need a rebuild if you decide to revert it to original.
There is surface rust on the tailgate and the rain guards above the windows. No rust holes anywhere, original paint and body.
