Mileage: Vehicle: 56,000mi. Engine: 86,000mi. Instrument cluster was swapped out for one in better cosmetic condition with a functioning clock. Installed cluster reads over 200k.

Body:  Euro Front with OEM bumper and larger GTI lower duckbill spoiler.  Rear Roll Pan included but not installed.  Paired with TCP Global Hot Rod Flatz Midnight Blue with a matte clear coat. Some minor chips and scratches as vehicle was actually driven and bed was used for carrying.  All window class is in great condition, no scratches or cracks. Center opening rear window ins installed and works flawlessly. Headlights have been updated to H4 with Sylvania ZXE bright white bulbs.

Wheels and Tires: 15×8 Avid 1 wheels with 195/55/15 Toyo Proxes Tires. New installed 2019 less than 1,000 miles on all.

Interior: Original complete dashboard off white/light gray in color in excellent condition. Glove box plastic is slightly brittle, but functions and latches. Bluetooth radio installed with Bose dash speakers and Pioneer 6×9 behind the seats. Seats, seatbelts, pedals, heater box, door panels and handles, sun visors and hand brake handle are all original that came with the vehicle. All in good working condition. Roof and floor are sound insulated with FATMAT. Carpet is black and has been replaced along the way.

Engine: Engine is swapped to an obd2 2.0l ABA from 1997 Golf.  Approx. 86k on the engine and is well maintained. New Timing Belt and water pump recently installed, new spark plugs, wires, cap and ignition coil installed.  TT 272 Camshaft installed with TT cam computer chip installed. TT long headers 4 into 1 installed. Complete MK4 AEG high flow intake manifold installed. Engine runs strong and has a mild lope to it once warm.  Coolant system has new aluminum radiator with Flex-A-Lite dual fan shroud.  New 120-amp alternator and all charging wires have been upgraded/replaced.  Fuel tank has been re-sealed and re-furbished; fuel pump and lines have also been replaced with new parts.  All engine mounts are new and have Prothane Poly inserts for a more solid feel. OBD2 data fort is under the dash and full communication can be made with ecu to check/clear fault codes, re-adapt throttle and many other functions.

Transmission: 5 speed 020 transmission from mk2 GTi.  Recently installed South Bend Stage 2 daily clutch with AUTOTECH lightened flywheel. New Adjustable TT shifter assembly all pieces from trans to interior are new so shifting is stable and solid feeling. Starter is new as well as both driveshaft axles.

Brakes:  All brake lines both metal and rubber have ben replaced from master cylinder distribution to each wheel.  Front calipers, rotors and pads have ben replaced with new parts. Rear drums have been completely re –built with all new hardware, shoes, drums, bearing and hand brake cables. Brakes are slid and work well

Steering and Suspension: Manual steering rack and column are original. Tie rod ends, front lower ball joints and wheel bearings have been replaced. Lower control arms are new with polyurethane bushings. AutoTech front lower stiffening cross bar installed also.  Front Shocks are CKW2 Double bellow air with adjustable dampening and 3/8” airlines. Included are front coil overs with new strut mounts if air ride was to be removed.  New rear Excel-G shocks. Rear has original leaf springs with one removed from each side and replaced with a ¼ ton airlift air bag for adjustable height and support for heavier bed loads. Air ride is enclosed in the toolbox in the bed. Complete 3/8” airlines for quick adjustability. 2x Viar 444 Compressors, 5-gallon air lift black tank and Airlift autopilot V2 air management system.
