I’m letting go of my AAZ swapped 81′ caddy.
It was a project with my late father so there is sentimental value. That being said I think it’s priced fairly @ $6500 I am not excited to get rid of it but I don’t think a vehicle that requires as much care as these do is practical for my lifestyle.
Way to much to talk about so just email me your # and I’ll call you. Happy to chat.
Only willing to sell to the right buyer, must be an enthusiast and understand these vehicles.
I have videos of it running. https://www.facebook.com/marketplace/item/292251519430874
The motor and gearbox came from tomas @ quality german.
It just lives in the heated garage at my mom’s house while I sleep in the back. I’m currently helping her with extreme health complications.
Main Pros:
Giles fuel pump and injectors
New AMC head
Freeway flyer 020 gearbox 3.67 Ring and Pinion, and an 0.75 5th gear
Topper
GTI Seats and center console with working gauges
Torque Tamer
Sub-frame in-between control arm brackets.
Depends on how you look at it:
Roll on monstalina paint job
big old jeep bumpers
air to air inter-cooler
2″ lift
Cons:
cracks in dash
Pinch weld passenger side in-between firewall and the wheel well is gone. But, the structural pinch weld from the wheel well to the rest of the body is completely fine.
Driveway quality body work on passenger side
Needs a few things to be dialed in with oil seeps.
The main shaft pulley bolt needs to be re-torqued.
The cam pulley barely took any force to come off the cone when I redid the timing belt, so I have it death gripped on there via the bolt. I don’t think the pulley will slip. but I just want to be 100% transparent.
