1981 VW Rabbit Pickup Original Sport Truck. Sandstone metallic over red interior. 71k miles, Westmoreland PA truck. Runs and drives well. Suspension and brakes in very good condition. Really fun to drive
Drivetrain: 1.7L 8V gas engine mated to 5 speed transmission, 71k miles. Just replaced timing belt, drive belt and water pump with new. New upper and lower radiator hoses. Newer clutch cable. Suspension has front coil overs and rear drop plates.
Exterior: Round headlamp conversion, largo lower duck bill front spoiler, Euro front bumper, South African rear bumpers, rear cargo cover. GTI flare kit, Rabbit GTI rocker stripe and 14” teardrop wheels, rear sliding window, cross hair headlamps and boser grill spoiler. Repainted some years ago, still presents well.
Interior: Recaro Sport Seats, Black leather with red stitching (almost new condition). Sparco R215 steering wheel. Original three-gauge center console, original red dash in very good condition, no cracks and original carpeting. Replacement headliner and newer door panels.
