81 Rabbit pickup. Runs and drives, has low miles 135,000.
It was last on the road in 1999. Looks like glow plugs and a relay parked it for a good long while.
I pulled the head, cleaned, and inspected. Has new head gasket and bolts.
New timing belt and a bunch of assorted seals. Oil change, fuel filter change and new fuel lines.
Mechanically its totally sound and ready to drive. New starter, New battery.
The body is in excellent shape underneath. Towers are clean, pinch welds are straight, over all it’s a really great body.
The bed is well used and the tailgate has a bit of a saddle but it’s cosmetic and nothing to compromise the rest of the truck. Interior is pretty good.
I can build it and finish it out or you can take it the way it is.
Needs a handful of cosmetic things and easy driveway tinkering stuff.
I have a clean Grill and headlights for it. Clean Colorado title.
Would consider a partial trade for other unfinished rabbit projects.
