This is a fairly rare VW in extremely rare condition!
The first thing rare is the fact that it has no rust. Most of these have rust in places that make these unsafe. The other extremely rare thing is a dash that doesn’t have a bunch of cracks. It’s like new! The interior is in amazing condition and except for having the seats recovered, is all original! The body was pretty clean but had over 40 yrs of bumps and bruises which were taken out and this is the first repaint it’s had in its life. This has the stock diesel motor that has had too many parts to list them all. Of course it runs strong and gets pretty close to 50 mpg. To manage expectations, this is not a new truck. It does not drive like your new diesel truck but the trade off is you get to drive something no one else has. And actually, it is very fun to drive as it is small and zippy even with the diesel motor. In my opinion this truck is worth close to $15k. The price is very low so not accepting offers.
