Description: 1982 Volkswagen Rabbit Diesel Pickup
Diesel Engine – 45 to 50mpg! This is before VW lied about their diesels!
We are moving and the new house doesn’t have a garage so my project needs to go.
I bought the truck with the plan of restoring it, but I didn’t get very far before a new job and baby came along. All of the parts are included. I took a ton of pictures and labeled all of the hardware. The front fender and radiator support were dented, so I bought replacements for both fenders and the support. I bought a black dash to change the interior from tan to black. I also bought a new grill and headlights to convert it to the round headlight “Euro” look. Also includes camper shell/topper.
There is only one spot that needs some rust repair (see picture). It is the where the bed meets the cab on the driver’s side. It is pretty minor.
The guy I bought it from drove it for work. The engine ran fine when I bought it.
It needs to go by the end of the week. You will need a trailer to pick it up.
$1200 or make me an offer. Open to trading up to a full size pickup.
