Selling my barn fresh project 83 VW Caddy.

Bought it locally as a project a year ago from where it had Been sitting for over 20 years. Complete project, basically it needs Everything. Yes it has Rust. No brakes, fuel tank needs flushed and new lines, tires hold Air enough to move but are ancient, battery is on life support. Can’t tell if it has the 4 or 5 speed trans as is stiff from siting… did I mention the Rust? Yes it has it in the typical Rabbit places, shock towers aren’t great but are solid enough that I bought it.

The positive? It’s a pretty complete-clean tittle in my name caddy project with great patina. I did get the 1.6 diesel to turn over and run briefly, but seems to have injection pump issue’s at the least. I changed the oil, filter, fuel filter , and coolant flush before trying to start it so all that is fresh. Could be a fun project I just no longer have the time for it unfortunately.

If it’s up its available don’t ask. I’ll consider trades VW preferred.
