1981 Rabbit Diesel “Caddy” Pickup – $3500 OBO

Only 54,1412 on rebuilt engine!

Since 2017 have spent over $3700 – most of the work done within past year. (I HAVE ALL BILLS):
1) new front/rear brakes – rotors, drums, pads 2) New wiring harness 3) New glow plugs and glow plug relay 4) New brake booster 5) Rebuilt vacuum pump 6) New fuel injector pump, belt, etc. – ($1200 alone for parts and labor) 7) New tires 8) New battery 9) New alternator 8)New shifter bushings 9) New door handles & locks
10) Upgraded bolstered velour seats. 11) New diesel fuel filter.
*Oil and filter changes every 3K*
(I have tried to show pictures of as many of the new parts as possible – see pics)

Apart from those things listed below, is in great shape. Up to 45 mpg, Smog exempt, very inexpensive insurance, front wheel drive great in the snow – go anywhere with FWD + chains or studded tires.

Only major known problem::
-Needs new front CV joints
-Vacuum booster rebuilt and car stops fine though sometimes still requires a bit of extra pedal pressure.
