Silver 1981 Volkswagen Rabbit Pickup in great condition.

This is a vintage truck, only manufactured for 3 years from 1979 to 1981. Bought in 2013 from a guy who had it for a decade and since been well taken care of. 152k miles but engine was upgraded between 80-100k miles. Worked as a daily driver for me for 4 years only needing repairs every 12-15 months for small things.

Pros:
Gets 40-50 MPG (diesel)
Upgraded engine from original
Working AC/heat
Stereo w CD/AUX
Brand new battery
Alternator replaced in past 2 years
Recently fully serviced 02/2021

Cons:
Minor interior blemishes
Some spots of discoloration on roof/bed of truck
Emergency brake light stays lit even when not activated
Sometimes when AC is on there is a whirring noise

This is a 40 year old truck in great condition that can be used as a daily driver or fun extra car. Served me well for the past few years and looking for a new home with someone who will continue to take good care of it long into the future. Real fun to drive around town and the truck bed is the same size as most large full sized trucks and is great for moving furniture or things from the hardware store. Maxes out at about 65 on the highway and has made a few trips up the mountains.
