I have here an 81 Volkswagen Rabbit truck.
It has an 84 Jetta 1.6 turbo Diesel swapped in along with the 5 speed manual transmission from the Jetta.
The truck just drove over two thousand miles on Hot rod power tour with no problems, and got 40+ mpg doing so!
It runs and drives great! Doesn’t need a thing but could use some love! It’s 41 years old, yes it has a bit of rust.
