Description: Desirable 1980 year VW Rabbit pickup. No smog check! In good shape being 35 years old. Comes with a camper shell. Bed has been lined with rubberized paint. All stock except for the engine which was replaced with a 1.9L NA diesel engine with 1.9L injection pump and injectors and 5 speed transmission about 25k miles ago. Transmission is FF code for better highway running. No grinds! Optima Red Top battery. Runs great getting a little over 40mph of around town driving. Registration just completed so good for a whole year! Kept a log book of fill ups and oil changes since the engine change. Love the truck, but an expanding family is forcing me to get a vehicle with more seats, otherwise I wouldn’t sell this gem. Comes with the original blue license plates.
