1981 VW Rabbit Pick up.
This truck is looking for a new owner ready for a project. It was built as a straight line race truck on the Bonneville Salt Flats. It is a 4 cylinder turbo diesel and manual transmission.
There is a single seat and a heavy duty driver roll bar. There is no interior to speak of other than gauges and switches. Aluminum cover over the bed with fuel cell and battery underneath.
We purchased the truck to make it street legal again and drive it around to car shows but moved on to a different project. There are headlights, running lights and turn signals. The body and frame are in good shape as a base for a future restoration.
