Your a VW fan and your a truck fan and your a diesel fan — Here it is a 1981 VW Pick up truck, Diesel, 4 speed with a later model VW Rabbit front clip.
Volkswagen only made 73,000 Pickups all together – EVER – so there are not many- ANYWHERE… There are even fewer with a later model Rabbit front clip. This thing would make an awesome rat road !!!
What you see is what you get. The interior is bombed out – but there are a set of half way ok racing seats installed. The engine runs…. The thing starts, stops, and runs…. has current inspection… she has ok tires and nice wheels… Bed is ok… This things what… 33 years old !!! I’m telling you whenever I park this thing close to a street I have 15 people asking me about it a week. I had it at the garage for some work and the garage owner had to put a NOT FOR SALE sign on it because he got tired of telling people. It’s not perfect but YOU can make it as perfect as you want – show or drive….
