I have owned this for 13 years.
The engine was swapped with a 2.0 liter 16v from a Passat with the 16v Scirocco intake and a serpentine belt conversion from a 99 Jetta. I have California legal catalytic converter and exhaust. You will just need to go through the DMV referee program to get it smogged. It also has 16v Scirocco brakes (4 wheel discs) and master cylinder as well as 2 port exhaust manifold, Techtonics downpipe, catalytic converter and aluminized 16v Techtonics exhaust.
It is lowered with KW coilers in front and 3″ drop plates in the back with air shocks. There is a Techtonics short shift kit, strut tower tie bar, lower tie bar, and front engine mount tie bar. South African rear bumpers and other hard to find parts. Has been parked for a year due to a rusted brake line. Have the parts, just not the time. This was an Ohio car so there is some rust underneath and some rust around the windshield from being parked outside here in Redondo Beach.
It has been parked in a garage for the past 2 years.
